Downloading and using MySQLTuner is actually a very simple process:

 

wget mysqltuner.pl 

perl mysqltuner.pl

 

If you'd rather not invoke perl every time, just make it executable:

 

chmod u+x mysqltuner.pl 

./mysqltuner.pl
